I hope you have all had a good week enjoying the snow. I have to admit I am quite glad that the weather is warming up and the thaw has started. It is always very hard down at the yard when the temperatures are so cold as we have no water because the taps all freeze. The pigs are also getting very fed up with having to stay in and are no doubt looking forward to the first signs of Spring so they can return to their home at the top of the fields.
The cold spell has bought a new resident to the farm - another ginger cat! He is now hanging out with the other four, who seem more then happy for him to be there and eat their food. I was a little confused when I first met him as I assumed he was Brave, our most courageous cat, hence the name. Brave then appeared, as did Tom, so now it appears we have an extra mouth to feed! Hopefully he will earn his keep and help catch any unwanted visitors in the feed lorry!
Have a great weekend!
