Of all the animals, he was by far my favourite. As well as being an excellent companion for James, my sister’s horse, he bought the yard to life with his cheeky and loveable personality. Although the children had the occasional tumble when riding him, he was kind and gentle and loved nothing better then being brushed and plaited, even if it did involve pink sparkly glitter!
For me he was more then just the pony at the yard. He was my friend and I will really miss him. Our next book, Tummy Trouble at Roberts Farm, is dedicated to him.
