It's been a crazy couple of weeks. With the school holidays in full flow I seem to have become a taxi service for my children, taking them to their various play dates and sporting activities. However, the weather has been very kind to us so I can't complain - long may the sunshine last.
I am pleased to announce that the illustrations for our next book, Tummy Trouble at Roberts Farm, are now completed. I have posted a short preview of the story with the illustrations, at Our books so make sure you check it out. Your feedback would be very much appreciated.
It's all very quiet down at the yard. Bagel and Bo are not really enjoying this hot weather as it brings out all the flies. I bought an expensive fly mask for Bagel hoping it would make him more comfortable but the little toad has already worked out how to get it off. I now have to spend a good 20 minutes most mornings walking around his field trying to find where he left it!
Chewey and Pokey seem very happy in the sunshine and are making full use of their muddy puddles - see the video above. I finally managed to catch Chewey on film, sound asleep in a foot of thick mud. Rather him than me. I feel more sorry for Pokey having to share a hut with him!
Have a good week!
